Service Area
Currently, we are only able to service customers residing in the United States of America. We will update this notice as other service locations become available.

Shipping Policy
All products at Sci-Fi Emporium include free shipping. It is also our policy to process all orders within 1-2 business days with the exception of major holidays. However, due to unforeseen emergencies or factors outside of our control, we cannot guarantee this. Our vendors send all packages via economy shipping to continue to offer these savings on shipping costs to our customers. Additionally, as we work with suppliers all over the world, shipments may be combined or broken up into several smaller shipments, at our discretion, based upon which suppliers are providing each product or where they are warehoused. This means that, typically, shipments may take 7-21 days to arrive (but may be longer depending on external factors out of our control) so we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date.

Return Policy
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at scifiemporium.com@gmail.com. Please include the order number, item(s) being returned and reason for the return. We will send instructions as to how to return the item(s) either directly to ourselves or back to the original suppliers.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Alternatively, we reserve the right to directly refund your shipping charges if we cannot supply a return label to you for some reason. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please carefully inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return (or once it is in the hands of the original supplier), and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Sales Tax Policy
We hate buying products online and then have to add sales taxes on at the end. We're sure you do too. Thus, our policy is to absorb and directly pay any sales tax due on your behalf so the price you see is actually the price you pay. How is that possible? Well, simply, we do not stock any of the items onsite. Instead, we buy them on your behalf as you order them and have them shipped directly from the manufacturer to you, paying any sales tax due directly to them. Any profit we make as part of the transaction is basically a "finder's fee" service charge. As we never had our hands on the products, applicable taxes were already paid directly to the manufacturer on your behalf. Since "service fees" are not taxable, you reap the benefit by not seeing any taxes at your end. You're welcome!
